Control Alternative Solutions Inc. (CASI) is based in Austin, TX. Texas has a tradition for being the biggest and the best and CASI will not disappoint you with their unique range of IP-enabling devices.
CAS-Lite
The CAS-Lite Bi-directional Ethernet -Protocol Conversion Bridge is multifunctional. It is a device that converts multi-point serial communications to a TCP/IP network. The CAS-Lite connects to and network enables 1 RS-232 or 1 RS-485/422 serial devices. In addition, the CAS-Lite architecture enables you to add extension modules like those which interface to Audio/video and mechanical devices. We currently have two expansion modules, a Relay module and a Contact Closure sensor module that will sense open or closed status of isolated contacts. There are many more modules planned for the future.
