Cas-Lite
RS232 is a Bi-Directional Serial
to Ethernet Conversion Bridges.
It converts a full duplex RS-232
serial stream to a TCP/IP stream.
The serial stream consists of
at least the transmit data,
plus optional "modem control
" signal. The Cas-Lite
connects to and network enables
most RS232 serial devices.
The
CAS-Lite RS-485 supports higher
speeds (up to 250 kbps), longer
distances, and may be used in
a multidrop configuration.
The CAS-Lite RS485 can be used
in a multidrop network spanning
up to 1200 m (4000 ft), and
there can be as many as 32 attached
devices.
The CAS-Lite RS485 is the master
device and provides software
support for typical RS485 protocols,
where data packets are less
than an upper limit of 1020
bytes.

The
Power Distribution Module (PDM)
conveniently distributes a single
DC input into five individual
outputs for centrally powering
a cluster of CAS-Lite Units
(RS232 / RS485). Each output
is protected with an auto-resetting
PTC to protect connected units
by isolating each attached CAS-Lite.
LED power indicators provide
visual feed back and power status
for each CAS-Lite connected
to the PDM.
iPhone App - Control Epson Ethernet Data Projector
DP Remote is an application designed to enable you to control Epson data projectors, which have in-built ethernet connectivity. The application will enable you to operate and control input sources, volume, audio video mute, and allow you to get status information on the current input, power and lamp hours used.
